The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan unveiled on Tuesday night a sculpture of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah at British Museum in London.
This bust marks the 70th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence. Other than the London mayor, the ceremony was attended by Pakistani High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Syed Ibne Abbas and other top officials.
After the unveiling ceremony, the bronze sculpture was moved to Lincoln’s Inn, where it will remain. Lincoln’s Inn is where Jinnah trained as a barrister, when Jinnah went to pursue law in 1893
